When is a diamond too big? 100 carats maybe!

When is a diamond too big? When is a diamond too big?: A 100 carat diamond has been sold for £9.7 million, just short of the estimate but it has set a record for a yellow diamond. It was sold at Sotherby’s auction in Geneva, Switzerland to a private buyer. Neither the seller nor the buyer of this diamond have been identified. It is a rock and a half and do you ladies out there think it is too big, or is there such a thing??

It is a statement piece however it would weigh down the finger! Yellow diamonds are quite rare and in particular a stone of this carat size, it is certainly a stunning diamond to be worn by some lucky lady out there!
